What is an Interdisciplinary Team?

At Majestic Hospice and Palliative Care, our interdisciplinary team is dedicated to providing comprehensive support for both patients and their families. Our Physicians collaborate with the patient’s doctor and are available for pain and symptom management consultations, including house calls when necessary. Our Registered Nurses and LPNs are specially trained in pain and symptom management and are on call 24/7 to ensure continuous care.

Nurse Aides and Nurse Techs, who are certified, provide compassionate personal care to meet each patient's needs. Our Social Workers offer counseling and bereavement services for the entire family while also serving as a valuable resource for community services. Chaplains provide essential spiritual support, and our Bereavement Counselors offer emotional care during and after a patient’s journey.

We also have Complementary and Alternative Professionals to enhance care with holistic therapies, and our dedicated Volunteers spend time with patients, assisting with letter writing, reading, journaling, and other personal tasks. At Majestic, we strive to create a caring, supportive environment throughout the hospice journey.
